This issue of Zamfara Lead poisoning keeps getting complicated. this evening I watched a documentary on the BBC World on the same subject. I initially thought that by now the issue has been effectively dealt with by authorities both at local and national level but to my dismay, the whole thing is in limbo. We hope that those at the helm of affairs would this time around do something much more meaningful for the good of our children in the area (and even those yet unborn).

Jalal, this recent study is giving strong backing to earlier postulates that the pollutants in the air combined together are likely to serve as EDC with negative consequences to especially the placenta hence the potential to lead to premature deliveries.

Jalal, I guess this link has strong causal relationship….think of Ca Lungs with smoking. Further studies would eventually confirm that Paraben is strongly linked to Ca Breast this is not withstanding the fact that those 40 women refuted ever using cosmetics and deodorants containing Paraben. I concur to what Binju mentioned about other possible routes of Paraben reaching the human system, as the researches also suggested.
